Job description

About the role

The Hardware Platform team is responsible for everything related to hardware integration and management within our charging station ecosystem. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless connectivity between charging stations and our platform (OCPP implementations), offering technical support tooling (fault monitoring, firmware upgrades, certificate management) in close collaboration with manufacturers and installation companies. Additionally, this team continuously explores and adds support for emerging value propositions related to energy management, load balancing, bi-directional charging (vehicle to grid), and more.

The role mixes work across the stack with particular emphasis on frontend technologies. We are searching for talented and proactive generalists, who thrive in a non-corporate environment with scope for ownership and impact. You are passionate about working closely with hardware, IoT, and building robust systems to ensure the seamless operation of thousands of connected devices, and will play a crucial role in driving the technical direction of our platform, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and data specialists.

Your responsibilities include:
Contributing to the technical direction, development, and delivery of features related to charging hardware integrations;

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions;

Leading and contributing to the design and development of the team's frontend methodology;

Proactively identifying and addressing technical challenges and opportunities to improve product quality and team efficiency;

Embracing a strong DevDataSecOps mindset.

Job requirements

What do we value in our candidates?
Track record in full stack development, with proficiency in react (or equivalent) and related technologies and frameworks;

Experience working in distributed, microservices, eventually consistent, and event-sourced architectures;

Familiarity with backend development with either node.js, typescript or golang;

Ability to thrive in an autonomous, self-starting environment where initiative and proactivity are valued.
