Biography
I was leading the development of OpenChange project (https://openchange.org), an open-source Microsoft Exchange alternative with its groupware backend (https://sogo.nu) written in Objective C. In order to provide a cloud solution in Zentyal (htttps://zentyal.com) we have developed a proxy written in Go. This was made fallen in love with that language. We are working in leading this software to the cloud providing distribution, scalability and automatic configuration.
I am a polyglot engineer which have developed Python web applications (Django, Flask, Pyramid), complex distributed systems to lead a remote management and monitoring tool written mostly in Python and Perl deployed using Puppet in AWS cloud.
I've also had developed a lot network service management in Zentyal server (https://zentyal.org) using Perl language for things like traffic shaping, PKI, HA with pacemaker and other modules or subparts.
Skills
Hard-worker, tenacious, code reviewer, perfectionist with regards to the tests.
What I look for
I am looking for a remote position to develop backend software.
I would like to stay in Zaragoza and work from home if possible. No problem on travelling abroad occasionally.
