Biography
I've been writing code and otherwise bossing computers around since 2006, so for nearly ten years now. I've worked on projects ranging from reverse engineering and embedded devices to single-page web applications.

Skills
My main skills are in software development; writing code is what I do most days. I'm also quite capable managing infrastructure. I find that a rough distribution of 80% coding and 20% operations works well, with the operations work clustering around the start and completion of a project.

Some other things I can do and have done:

* reverse engineering (embedded devices, undocumented binary protocols)
* security auditing
* copywriting
* education (JavaScript, golang, general development)
* public speaking (google "campjs deoxxa")

What I look for
I'm looking for short to medium-term (3-12 month), part time contracts. I want to be writing Go, but I'm also happy writing (or repairing) Node.JS or doing operations work.
Melbourne (I live here!) permanently, or anywhere else for short periods (no more than two weeks).
