Biography
I'm currently a freelancer who works on a variety of problems, but I'm looking for a permanent position (willing to relocate to certain regions, or would love the opportunity to work remotely). I love data analysis/visualization and big data problems! Lastly, I mentor FIRST Robotics teams in big data analytics and web development, and volunteer at FIRST events at all levels (FLL, FTC, FRC) as a Game Announcer or Master of Ceremonies.
Skills
I can run the full stack of development (aside from graphic design - my artsy skills lay more with music and theater than with graphic design and visual art). I often do work on the frontend with AngularJS, and do server-side work in one of NodeJS, Python, or Go (Go is a reasonably new development on my part). I'm familiar with a variety of SQLs (including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQLite3), MongoDB, and Redis.
What I look for
I'm really interested in Big Data-related problems in any language, or anything using Go or Python.
Preferred cities (order is not indicative of preference): Chicago IL, Los Angeles/Orange County CA, New York City NY, Portland OR, San Francisco/Oakland CA, Seattle WA
Absolutely open to remote work in any fashion (including 100%).
