Biography
At my last position I did frontend development using AngularJS, and started transitioning towards the backend with Go. I worked with microservices built in Go and interacting with Angular frontend apps, other Go microservices, and a legacy PHP API that we were replatoforming. Before that, I've done frontend development freelance.

Building servers and APIs with Go using Martini or Gin; persistent data stores such as MongoDB and MySQL; working in a *nix environment; agile development; code reviews and git
What I look for
At my next position I'd like to work with Go to build applications and/or APIs and servers. I like working with Go for its simplicity and great tools out of the box. I really enjoy looking at the high-level architecture of a system and working on interesting problems regarding that architecture, such as ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
