Biography
I've been working as a web developer for the last 8 years. However, I work as a freelancer in a wide array of projects, many of them unrelated to web development. Currently, I'm diving into Go since I really like to keep myself updated with the latest technologies, and I really like the language features, clarity and speed. I've started to use NoSQL databases (mongoDB) for some of my projects since I find them more flexible and accurate when representing data models.
Skills
I'm good developing websites using MVC frameworks, I also know how to create RESTful APIs. I've written several modules for different open source projects such as Magento, Wordpress and others. I have gained experience using and configuring GNU/Linux systems, both Red Hat based distributions and Debian based ones. I learn quickly and I love embracing new technologies.
What I look for
I’d like to work more with Google Go, coding server side applications, desktop systems and other useful tools; I'm also willing to work using PHP and other technologies that I'm more experienced in as long as I have the freedom to explore new technologies and paradigms in the area.
