Software Engineer - Golang, AWS, Javascript, Java, Linux

Biography
I have been working as a software developer for about 12 years, mostly using Java technologies. During these years I also worked on side projects and freelance jobs using Android and Ruby on Rails. I was recently exposed to Golang in my master's degree and hence I am willing to learn more and work with that language.

Skills
Expertise with the Java EE platform and correlated technologies such as Hibernate and Spring.
Experience with Golang, Ruby on Rails, Android, React.js, Node.js and Javascript.
Good knowledge on System Architecture, Design Patterns and Agile Methodologies.
Experience as a programmer using MS SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL.
Proficiency in Linux distros like Slackware, Fedora, Debian and Ubuntu.
Experience deploying applications on the cloud providers AWS, OpenShift and Heroku.

What I look for
I am looking for a position where I mainly will code in Go.
I still have about a year left to complete my degree, so I rather work in Victoria, BC. However, I am open to remote work as well.
