Biography
Software engineer with over 10 years of commercial experience focusing on server-side technologies. With extensive knowledge of PHP, in recent years I have found Go to be my preferred programming language of choice due to its simplicity, productivity and performance.
I enjoy working on challenging problems, debating possible solutions and building them.
Staying up to date with best practices in the industry is important for me, as is staying open minded to challenge these established practices.
Skills
I have very good analytical skills. I am very methodical and take pride in developing software that works reliably (love unit testing). I love working on challenging problems, but I am not afraid to ask for help and/or opinion.
What I look for
I am looking for a position where I mostly code in Go.
I am interested in working mostly remotely. Occasional trips to an office are ok.
