Biography
I have over two decades of deeply technical experience in a variety of leading-edge sectors, including large-scale data management, GIS/geospatial, analytics, open source, high-performance/distributed computing, and compilers.
For the past few years I've been forming and leading development and devops teams for geospatial contract work in the US intelligence community; prior to that, I spent two years helping to lead a startup from initial product concepts through multiple strategic pivots and VC pitches to first customer pilots.
I work best in small, dynamic, nascent teams and so I'm particularly interested in senior technical roles at startups, labs, or incubation teams. My preference is to be on a team working in technically challenging areas, including (but not limited to!) data analytics, geospatial data, distributed/cloud computing, image processing, enterprise software, or cloud/SaaS plays.
