Professional software engineer with ten years of industry experience. Enjoys the aesthetics of software design with special interest in concurrency, flexibility, and reusability. Current focus on automated malware analysis and intelligence gathering.
Other areas of interest: human interaction, parallel computing, big data, user interface design and the structured visual representation of data.
I've worked on many projects over the years including the statewide application and notification system for the State of Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend and the industry-leading automated malware analysis system for Sourcefire (now a part of Cisco Systems).

What I look for
I'm interested in pursuing Go on its journey into the future. I've been a strong advocate of the language for several years and enjoy working in it more than any other language I've ever worked in. I would enjoy working in the areas of security or scientific development, but would also be keen to work on frameworks and services as well as in the startup space.
Ideally, I would work remotely; as far as physical location, Baltimore and DC have first priority, but I am open to working in California, Portland, Seattle or Europe.
