We do this by optimizing platform engineering, alleviating the cognitive load on IT teams, and advocating for Green IT and FinOps practices. Platform teams design, build and run the platform enabling end-users to visualize and deploy existing and new projects, interact with cutting-edge DevOps and Cloud automation without the need to become an expert, while keeping best practices in place, cloud expenses under control with a minimum carbon footprint.
Cycloid, a sustainable engineering platform, provides a frictionless self-service portal with modules around Self-service portail and orchestration, infrastructures and ressources management and FinOps and GreenOps. It can be consumed through the console, in CLI or in API.

In fact, every year, you will be meeting the teams f2f in order to discuss the product roadmap and the next key developments we want to implement.

What is my challenge ?
We divide it into three because we are convinced that we grow throughout our professional journey
Short term: understand and comprehend the codebase
Midterm: contribute to the codebase comfortably by adding new features and fixing bugs
Long-term: contribute to the high-level roadmap of the company and be part of major discussions about future features and developments.
You will be joining a team of experienced Backend Developers and be a key part of the development of our new features. Have you heard of our freshly baked Cost Explorer feature yet?
Your day-to-day will be made of :
Contributing to the features you choose to work on by defining those features with the rest of the team or working on those directly.
Developing in Go
Reviewing others code
Communicating with the rest of the team and helping others when needed

What should I bring to the table?
Your Must-Have includes:
Minimum 5 years experience as a backend developer
Go/Golang and testing (Unit/E2E)
MySQL
HTTP API/JSON (swagger) & co
Keeping up to date with best practices and new technologies
Good knowledge of git and Github
Full English proficiency - both writing and speaking
Full Remote work experience
Honest/Straightforward
Benevolent
Not taking things too seriously :D
