Job description
We are looking for passionate, driven and innovative Go/Golang Developers with a broad set of technical skills to join our team in Derivco Barcelona!

Reporting into your Team Lead you will work closely with a team of developers, architects and stakeholders to deliver solutions that can help the company retain its competitive advantage.
As a team you will focus on moving our back-end system into the Cloud, as well as integrations of our partners solutions into our system.
We use different languages like Go, Elixir, or Ruby. Some of the latest projects were built in Elixir while other projects use Go, so you must be open-minded and willing to learn new languages if required.
Your days will be varied and can involve the maintenance of old code, creating a new project from scratch or setting up a deployment pipeline in GitLab. We have many projects in flight so it’s common to work four weeks in one project and then four weeks in another project.
That’s why we are looking for positive people who enjoy challenges and are team players.
What you need to succeed:
• Solid software development experience, ideally with highly transactional and complex systems
• Experience developing with languages to include Go, Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, Java, or Python
• Experience with iterative/agile (e.g. SCRUM, XP) methodologies
• Previous experience of source control, and tools such as Git
• A strong academic background (formal qualification, HND, Degree or equivalent)
Nice to have:
• Experience of IT networking
• Experience with Azure cloud advantageous
