Biography
Hi, I'm Denis. I'm back-end engineer working mostly with Scala last several years. I have 8+ years experience in software engineering including front-end, full-stack and back-end.
I've been programming in JavaScript, Scala, Clojure, Java, Ruby, Erlang. I have experience in both object oriented programming and functional programming.
On my previous position as software engineer at RealAudience AB I worked with Scala and Clojure, building data processing pipelines with Apache Spark and web-applications, including APIs.
On my current position as seniour software engineer at Zalando I support and improve web-application of Zalon product.
I'm interested in Golang, but, unfortunatelly never had a chance to build something with it during my career. I learned it though, used as a toy on some of my personal projects.
I'm interested in on site positions in Berlin, where Golang experience is not a strict must, I believe my experience with different programming languages will help me to pick up Golang quickly.
