Biography
I am a well seasoned software developer who knows how to creatively solve big problems. I have successfully rebuilt core software systems at several companies while improving the user experience, reliability, and code maintainability at the same time. In addition to writing software, I have also maintained the systems that support applications. This includes databases, high availability web services, and fault tolerant infrastructure.

Skills
Having worked on the full stack of web applications for close to 15 years, I have seen and built a lot of useful tools. I have extensive experience in the healthcare and financial service industry building both internal and external applications. This means I've designed database schemas that are well structured, performant, and allow the company to perform analytics as well. I have built everything from authentication frameworks, rest services, public api's clear to the web front end that accesses that data.

What I look for
I am looking for a position where I would spend most of my time working on application code. Though I am capable of building user interface, my strengths fall on the application layer.
I'm looking for a position where I can stay local and work remotely.
