Job description
Screenleap allows you to share your screen and view from any web-enabled device without installing any software. We also allow developers to add screen sharing to their applications using our screen-sharing-as-a-service API. Our mission is to do for screen sharing what Dropbox did for file sharing: make screen sharing a hassle-free experience that just works across all devices.
We have built a product that users love and we need your help to make it even better! You will have the opportunity to work on a product used by hundreds of thousands of people, solve challenging technical problems, and make a meaningful impact on the company. In your role, you will help develop the next version of our screen sharing platform and build an SDK that allows developers to screen share from their mobile apps. We are looking for a generalist who is comfortable moving among various languages and technologies, including Go, C++, HTML5, Java, and Objective-C.
The company is seed-funded by Y Combinator and other investors and is profitable. Youβll be joining at an exciting time as we are beginning to hit the growth stage. Our office is currently located in San Francisco, but we will be relocating to downtown Palo Alto in September. As a company, we value simplicity, creative solutions, and the ability to get things done. We offer a competitive salary, significant equity, and a flexible work schedule. We are open to remote work for the right candidate.
Skills & requirements
Requirements:
* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience (proven ability matters more to us than degrees)
* Experience writing software in Go, Java, and/or Objective-C
* Ability to take complete ownership of projects, from conception to implementation
Nice-to-haves:
* Experience building SDK libraries, iOS apps, or Android apps
* Experience building real-time systems, distributed systems, or peer-to-peer applications
